Objective

To assist Educators, by providing intervention strategies for students with Learning Disabilities specifically Dyslexia.

Explanation

This seminar will focus on reviewing specific interventions that will help students with Dyslexia to succeed in the school environment and can be implemented immediately. We will also define the characteristics of Dyslexia, the processing deficits, the educational implications, and assist teachers in understanding the specific learning needs of students identified as dyslexic. Participants will experience a brief look at what it is like to be dyslexic.
